Another what is this part thread
I am down to two crates of parts left to be installed!
However, the label on this part disappeared.
I went through all of the pages in the AIM, but nothing jumped out as I went through all several hundred pages.
Anyone know what this is for?

Actually after a second look it looks like the cable hold down for my hood latch pull. Probably common to vent cables as well.

Hi k,
They are the brackets which locate and support the windshield while it's being installed. They're on the cowl in the wiper bay, one each side.
Without them the windshield would have wanted to slide down the frame while the thiokol set.

Bracket and unusual screw are both tough to find.
That screw looks very much like the head on the screws that attach the front grills to their brackets. Maybe a little shorter.
