My Dad gave me his triple green 70 Stage I 4 speed. What a ride. Had to sell it in 2002. Still miss it but the Vettes have eased the pain.

What are you hanging your mic on? Is there a part for that?

This car came from the factory with this option. It has a mic bracket mounted on the dash.

Looks like decision time! Pretty much finished the project. I finished this one and have not finished mu 68 coupe. The long and short of it is I will be offering my 79 for sale for about what I have in it (less my blood sweat and tears) I'm 6"4" and can not figure why I fit in mt 68 Corvette but don't have the head room in the 79. I can only figure the AL Knock seat cushions set me up higher. I want to finish my 68 Corvette Coupe and do a full restoration on my 1972 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 4 speed. I will be looking into listing this on our forum.

I DD my 79 Corvette (and have a few others) and have a 1972 Buick GS455 convertible, though it’s a clone. Good luck with yours!

Just a side note question on your new seats, are they the 2" or 4" bolsters? Upgrading my '78 to clam-shells and need to decide on which route to go. When I see what must be the 2" they look kinda thin and collapsed over time, but just wondering how much wear (getting in and out) and restriction, if any there is with the 4"? Sorry to hijack your thread, but those seats look so fresh and absolutely perfect! Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words on the 79! Mine were 4" from the factory and I recommend the 4" for yours
