God speed. It will sell.
Hi Rescue Rogers, yes anxiety runs high when you do stuff like this. Last time I felt like this was the day I put the adhesive on the front clip and installed it. Thanks!

Just think, when you do pack up all your stuff you'll find everything you've ever misplaced.
Only to pack it away in a box to never find it again

Hey Roger! Thanks for giving us the update. Those Corvette benches work pretty good. I`ve got one myself that has a bit of stuff on it. My Camaro bench works much better as it`s a little flatter. Good luck on the sale of your house and the big move coming. You`ll be back working on the Vette in no time!

Hi Harv, just thought it would be nice to post something to all the friends I have met on the forum. Well after reading Dub's comment, and he is right, I made sure the first thing I did today was remove the patio cushions and make sure there is nothing else on the body. Live and learn.
Thanks guy's good to hear from everyone.

Good look with the house sale, we're thinking to do the same.

Is that a second vette project you have lined up already

Well the realtors stopped by and stuck their sign in the front yard. Now what to tell all the nosey neighbors. Any witty comments?

Just tell them the truth

I am moving somewhere where the neighbors are not so nosey.

Good luck with the sail, Rog. Looking forward to seeing you back at work again.
As for the neighbors, just tell them you've run out of room for all the dead bodies. I think the look on their faces would be quite entertaining. You don't have to tell them if you were referring to car or human remains.

Sorry for my previous post being the only one to come in on this thread and tell you something that was not 100% positive...but as you said..I do have your back and do not want you to have any hidden problems arise. Sorry for being 'kill-joy'.

WELL...Obviously this depends on how good of a friend/neighbor they are...Tell them that you have to move due to an ability you have to be able to feel a shift in the magnetic pull of the North and South pole. And it happens about every 15 years or so. And this 'shift' causes your ability to see the future gets distorted. But...when you find an appropriate place to live...they can come over and get their future told to them for a nominal fee.

I do stuff like this to people from time to time to see if they can TAKE THE HINT.....that what I am doing is NONE of their business.

OH YEAH...have a slight twitch in you neck when talking to them about this and that is also a by-product of the poles shifting.

Heck...if you are going to lay one out there...go for the gusto.

DUB

I can only imagine the fun and exciting times that lie ahead for you to pick up and move those cars, and all your stuff, to a new garage. What many see as clutter I just see as a fun filled Corvette restoration home. Saying that helps me justify my own clutter.

I hope all goes well for you Roger and you are settling into your new garage, er home, soon.

Best regards,

David

Hi David, glad to hear from you. Your right when you say clutter after 25 years. New home has a unique garage setup that total 4 but I can finally get the 10.5 high ceilings. Maybe a setup like you have, down the road.
