not sure of the right term, I was just repeating the previous response. The two (bleeders) are where the brake lines go in.

Original master cylinders have (among other details) 2 inlets for the brake lines and 2 bleeders to help in bench bleeding the master cylinder.
It also has a date code indicating when it was machined stamped into the surface where the forward brake line attaches and also a 2 letter broadcast code indicating it's application on a machined surface at the front of the pump.
The correct casting number for your 69 would be 5480346 std., or 5455509 for power.
