Default Original Master Cylinder

Would the numbers on this master cylinder indicate that it's original to my 69'? Just wondering if I should keep or toss..

Alright not sure of the right term, I was just repeating the previous response. The two (bleeders) are where the brake lines go in.

Hi gg282,
Original master cylinders have (among other details) 2 inlets for the brake lines and 2 bleeders to help in bench bleeding the master cylinder.
It also has a date code indicating when it was machined stamped into the surface where the forward brake line attaches and also a 2 letter broadcast code indicating it's application on a machined surface at the front of the pump.
The correct casting number for your 69 would be 5480346 std., or 5455509 for power.
Regards,
Alan

Red caps are in the inlets for the brake lines. the bleeders are above them. Date stamp…. 0 338…. 338th day of 1970.

DC…. non p/b.
