Anybody running Ridler wheels? Jegs sells them and I think they look sharp, especially the 695's. Only problem is that I want the 18 x 9.5 , but they only come in 5.5" backspace. Any thoughts? Thanx
I'm running the 18 x 9.5 Ridler's on the back. I had to relocated the e-brake mount and grind a tad bit off of the end of the spring. I'm also running a 1/8" spacer for good measure. 18 x 8's up front with no issues.

I have offset T/A's with a 360 lb composite spring out back. That should probably clear- don't you think?
I bought my rims two years ago price was right for me . Mine are 17 by 8 with 4.5 backspace . Tires are Nitto 255/50/17 rear 255/45/17 front . All fit good no rubbing
I have Ridler 675s, 17x9.5, with a 255/50r17 Nitto Invo tyre on all 4 corners. -5mm offset, basically 5" backspace. I had to shorten the rear spring, and move the handbrake cable mount to the top of the trailing arm. All of these would have fit inside the wheel on an 18 and probably not been a problem... I also had to reshape the rear sway bar slightly to avoid rubbing the tyre.
I'm very happy with the finish and quality of the wheel, keeping in mind that it's a budget priced wheel. Not too heavy and balanced without too much weight too. Does seem to get nicks in the alloy fairly easily though.

Beautiful stance! Did you cut a coil off the front and run 10" bolts in the back? Good lookin vette.
Thanks! One coil off the front and 8" (from memory, might have been 9"?) bolts in the rear. It's a factory gymkhana suspension car, so that's off the gymkhana springs.
When I bought it (before rebuilding suspension, steering brakes etc and buying wheels) it was quite different:
I lowered it to VIP specs, added a spacer between rear strutrod mount and diff, fitted global west upper arms and Borgeson steering, and have a fairly aggressive alignment. Drives like it's on rails now.
