Melting Slicks
You put some time sweat and elbow grease to make that change from ugly to purdy! Looks fantastic - keep up the good work!

LOL, No. It's been rode hard & put away wet
It was sitting in a guys garage for 8 years. It was originally from Texas. It was so loaded with dirt & rocks, etc. I believe I have removed at least 5 lbs of dirt so far. It would hardly run and kept puking gas out the bowl vents. When I tore the engine down the cylinder walls & rings were in bad shape, but good enough the .030 corrected that issue. Has some blow-by. I was hoping that I could get away with some new gaskets & a rattle can tune and save for a big block, but that will be a little later than originally planned.
It's saving grace is the interior is in good shape. The only thing I have had to replace so far is the visors & steering wheel. But that was because I didn't like the small cracks it had around the edges of it. One thing I cannot stand is a nasty interior.
Now on to the front end. I have the Borgeson power steering and all new suspension & steering parts to install. The motor is ready to be picked up from the machine shop. I'm hoping to have it back on the road soon.
