What ever kit you use, make sure that it is rated for ethanol blend fuel. I bought a rebuilt carb and the foam float swelled up and got stuck. I've also read about non compatible accelerator pumps that would swell or shrink.
Jet has a good rep with some people I know.

From what I read ethanol compatible. Just trying to wade thru all the crap out there and get something that works instead of having to settle for junk. Thanks

I had a terrific outcome upgrading the QJet on my 79 to 72 specs following advice from Cliff and using his kits

http://www.cliffshighperformance.com/

This guy literally wrote the book...call him up and he'll likely answer the phone and get you exactly where you want/need to be.

Enjoy,
Steve

I used a kit from Cliff on my Q-jet rebuild

It may be a little bit more expensive, but you know that you are getting the right parts for your carb instead of generic parts, and he is extremely helpful over the phone
