Default gauge bezel

I purchased a new small gauge bezel for my 73, it won't fit the opening!
Has anyone had this problem? Thanks Bob

Hi B,
I believe there's just one supplier for the reproduction bezels so everyone is getting the same one.
In what way won't it fit?
Too tall? Too wide? Poor fit at upper dash pad? Poor fit at shifter console?
Regards,
Alan

Hi B,
I wish you had said by how much.
The 2 lower dash pads have a BIT of adjustment in them.
The right side moves toward the door pretty easily if you loosen, but don't remove, the 3 screws across it's top. Maybe 1/4" is possible.
The left side pad moves in the same way but the steering column needs to be loosened to get ANY movement. There's SO much going on behind the left side dash that getting movement is pretty iffy when everything is still assembled.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

Here's the upper dash pad. On the left bracket in the pic you can see the u-nut that the dash screw seats in and has a LITTLE side to side adjustment.
