Basically, I kept finding small pockets of rust. I am the kind of person that cannot sleep at night knowing there is rust somewhere. So, one piece at a time all the metal got separated from the fiberglass. I do not recommend this, to anyone, unless you want to end up in the madhouse! I have also spent a lot of time re-glassing over cracks, holes, and previous repairs.
Below is a repair and reinforcement of part of the seat belt corner. It is interesting how much these bodies flex and the stress cracks that develop over time. I know it is not the prettiest repair but no one will ever see it.
P.S. Alan, thanks for all your posts, pictures, and comments. They have been extremely helpful along the way.

Hi f21,
If the pictures I post are even a little help to you I'm pleased.
I'll be interested in seeing what you're doing as you move along.
Regards,
Alan
I'd say you're about here?
