I just replaced the cracked windshield on my 68 convert. I removed the trim and had a body shop remove and install the glass. (my Hagerty insurance paid for it) Alan's advice is very helpful for the part you are going to do. Whether you install the glass yourself or have a shop do it, get some extra clips. You may find some of them not in good enough shape to re-use when you get all of the old sealant removed.
