Does know why the A/C in my 77' blows colder on the Norm setting then, on Max. If I put it on Max, it blows warmer. Do I need to recharge it system?

I would check and make sure the air door in the right end of the wiper bay, cowl area, is closing when the control is put to max and that the door in the right kick panel area is opening.

So your saying under the hood, in the right side of the wiper bay area. There is a door that closes and inside the car on the right kick panel, should be open. When I put the A/C on max. I'll take a look tomorrow... Thank You

Yes, when you go to max, it stops using outside air and recirculates. Engine must be running, they are vacuum operated.
