Mandatory locations??
I am not sure why everyone does not put their location on their profile....it would save a lot of time and postings asking "where are you located?"
I see many pros and not too many cons to this idea....I'm just saying!

location is sometimes pertinent to answering their questions .. Maybe some feel its "private" info and we might steal their identities?

This has been suggested multiple times. There's no reason to force members to provide personal information if they do not choose to by making things mandatory. If you would like to know where someone lives, feel free to send them a PM.
