I'm scheduled to drop the 70 off for paint this Friday. Saving some head room; and money and trying to un-warp my original headliners, I just did the interior to match the interior color. I'm also planning on putting a piece of headliner to form the inside space; since the t-top itself has been reinforced there it will cover the slight imperfections. I'm hoping this will not look to modded up, but again this is a Resto-Mod.
If all goes well; the next picture will be beautiful Deep Water Blue.
I left the liners out for headroom. I think that it's impossible for anyone taller that 4 feet to even twist their head around enough to even see that they're missing.
Looks good. I recently took my interior panels out, taped off and sprayed some rubberized undercoating on the interior side. My interior is black so it matches and was able to get a nice even texture. Im 6' and definitely like the extra head room. Plus like mentioned before, nobody looks up that often anyways.
