Hi JM,
The seats for 72 were all the same.
The shoulder belts were standard on coupes and optional on convertibles.
If a car was to have shoulder belts there were a few pieces added to the seat to allow for passage of the belt through the seat back.
So you COULD say they were different, but really started out as the same.
Regards,
Alan

Seat coverings were two different styles, base interior had the vinyl material and the deluxe option would have had leather covering. On '72 seats, the pleats ran horizontally while '71 seats pleats ran vertically.
I thought that the shoulder belts were standard by 72?

As Alan said, the shoulder belts were an option on the convertible. My 72 vert has original belts, but are not shoulder. I am looking in to replacing them with a factory replica which will require passing the seatbelt through the seat.
