When this thread started, I assumed it was about restomodding cars again.
However, further posts made it sound like you wanted a forum section just on "modifications" in general, like...
... that thread.
Or the entire Tech section.
The suggestion for a separate forum custom section has come up a few times and has not been embraced by the powers that be, mostly because so many of the total posts do comprise discussions regarding "modifications" in general, plus it would be impossible to migrate the endless amount of previous posts there.
A sticky would be overwhelmed and you would not have a consensus for what belongs in that new forum and what doesn't. Is it major mods, minor mods, restomodding, customs, something else? Take a look at all the posts in General and in Tech and imagine if you removed all of them that has some connection to "modifications."
I think the search function works very well if you use it properly. Choosing the "advanced" search is much more effective in finding various topics. Sometimes you have to work with it a little to get better at it.
