2020 Corvette of the Year Finalist (performance mods)
2019 C3 of Year Winner (performance mods)
2016 C3 of Year Finalist
Ive got a 68 the PO put on 69 style side pipes and a L88 hood. I just modded the hood by adding the cold air intake to work with the small block thats in it. And it has HEI. Not a big deal compared to a V12. But in my budget.
Mods are good!!!!

Modified cars show up almost daily on the Forum. I don't see a need for a forum specifically limited to modified cars.
I'm not talking about just modified cars. I'm talking about the mods that guys have done to there cars to give others ideas into do to there own. I mean between the tech and performance to the general how many thousands of pages are there? Many with mixed mods in either category. I think it would be awesome to have a category geared towards the mods and the how to's of how they did it.
Some mods are needed to change old technology that was a good idea back then but not so much now. I did change the plastic piece in the shifter console to a leather boot on my auto shifter and the E-brake also. The plastic would not last long and would get scraped up from shifting and the E-brake broke twice. As Danny said earlier, 200HP was not cutting it for me. Not good to have Moped beat you to the next light.
