Default Converting electric to manual mirrors?

I have the power mirrors on my 81 now and want to convert them to the chrome style similar to the 79 mirrors. I have found posts from people switching from manual to electric, but not vice-versa. Has anyone here done this?

Hi...i will make sure i let you know when they are off the car. It will be within the next couple of weeks. They need new trunions, but other than that, they are just fine. It will come with selector switch and wiring. All the goodies.

Your choice. The sport mirrors mount with two studs. Chrome mirrors mount with well nuts. You are likely to have to fill at least on hole are each door.
