Here's a thread I had saved on it-

And here's a PDF on the C4 column

thanks, the pdf didn't work though,
That c4 column link really beat up the idea,

I still have not given up using that ce column, I like the cornering lamp feature, dimmer on column and the cruise switch would be something, plus I can sell the 69 tt column for several toad pelts,

my biggest hang up is cutting the sleeve correctly

Lecarra makes a beautiful walnut wheel, but I could not justify the $$$ for the wheel and adapter... found a (I believe 66?) Optional Impala wheel at a swap meet for 60 bucks:

It's huge, well realy about 1.75" bigger in diameter, but it feels nice and the extra leverage helped when the PS stopped working

Side note: I would LOVE to have one of the 'illegal' 77 horn buttons... I keep a eye out, but haven't found one yet

I liked the wood wheel as well.
Just wish I could get it with the corvette logo.

Warned ya didn't I.....

Ummmn I am guessing the guy that trimmed the wood at the factory to make them round, didn't show up that day?

Seriously though Bats, that wheel is beyond awsome for a period custom... I wouldn't have left the junk yard without it either

Not most peoples cup o tea, I dig it and fully admit that it's so very tacky it's cool, well to me it is, it feels better to grip than any round wheel I ever owned, and laughing at it is great I'm with you but the icing on the cake was that cat who got so upset angry over it like calling his mum a ho that he almost got thrown out of a cruise over it...that was priceless.

It is way over the top, and need would really need the right car... but I still think it is awsome. Remember though, that my 77 is rollin on all terrain tires at the moment.... so the 'purists' don't look to kindly on me either
