I have a '78 Pace Car and it was painted last fall. Finally got around to putting weatherstripping back on the doors and T-tops. I have spent the better part of three days winding windows up and down to adjust things with ZERO luck! I hear there is an AIM instruction out there for it. Would there be anyone kind enough to send that to me? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
I PM'd you...if you seem to get it...GREAT...I gave you my shop number so call me.
A lot of it depends on the weatherstrips being too dense....and the window channel rollers (the front one that attaches to the glass itself)..and then the rear vertical channel roller.
The willcox one worked pretty good. I was able to get the drivers side perfect. The passenger side.... close enough. I don't think its water tight but its WAY better than it was. For me to get the top front of the window into the t-top correct, I end up hitting the center post with the back of the window. I plan on not driving in the rain anyway.
