Default My New 1974

Finally got my first Vette. This will be my learning car until I can find that chrome bumper dream! I have been wanting to join the forum, but it didn't feel right until I actually got a corvette.

Congratulations on your new 'Vette! Isn't it awesome? Yes, they can be a PITA at times, but that's just part of the ownership experience.

Welcome to the '74 club, my favorite "affordable" 'Vettes, if there is such a thing.

Default 74 vette

Welcome to the forum with your new corvette. It's great to have another member on board. Ask away when ready and we do like a lot of pictures.

Welcome. I have a 75 with dreams of a 72 someday. Enjoy her. Chrome or not she will get lots of looks and thumbs up for the older crowd that appreciate her. I even get waves and thumbs up from middle school kids on the bus when I get caught behind it.

Mine is a beater for sure, but I still get compliments all the time. You guys with nice ones must REALLY have fun with them!

Congratulations on a beautiful car with a great color combination. And sorry to inform you, but you now have an incurable disease. I caught it last year and the only medicine that works is more time behind the wheel, under the car, etc...............and more vettes.

Great looking car! You will get a lot of attention. I like the 74 for it's unique place in Corvette history as the last year for big blocks and true dual exhaust. Enjoy it to the max and welcome.
