Default Ac vs No Ac

Good Catch. That would actually make more sense than the way I thought

I just checked the 72 AIM and there looks like 3 different version

1100950 (42A stock SB)
1100543 42A (LS5)

1100544 61A (350 and 454 with AC)

All 10SI so the difference is likely the clocking between SB and BB????

Mooser gave the correct 1971 numbers and that they are 10SI; internal regulator. The shaft should be the same to swap your pulley. Keep in mind these are real simple to rebuild. Need a vice, some hand tools and a parts kit from ebay (not me http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-10SI-Del...FV66N-&vxp=mtr ) or elsewhere. Good luck.
