I was changing my turn signal relay and this capacitor? (Yellow Barrel like device) Fell on the floor. It was next to the turn signal relay but not sure exactly where the two prongs plug into. One prong was horizontal, the other was bent to the vertical which isn't intuitive regarding where it would plug into since there are no vertical receptacles on the fuse panel.
My question is, is it stock? And if not why was it there? My car has an updated stereo system installed by the previous owner. Everything including the stereo seems to be working fine. Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance

Hi c,
I believe that's a radio interference capacitor.
When cars were equipped with a radio the capacitors were added to the 4-way flasher and directional signal flasher…. and other places too like the brake light switch..
The 'tabs' on the capacitor was generally folded over the prongs of the flasher before it was inserted. The position of the tabs you saw match the position of the prongs on the flasher can.
