Wes L88 update
HmmDid not get a lot done yesterday as I turned the same as my 68 L88 so spent time with family
Two more pieces finished
These shafts sat in mudd for years lucky they were made of quality metal in the day
Don't be afraid of rust
Todays progress steeting linkage

Happy belated Wes! Man, your '68 is only 48 years old, so you clock in younger than me! Trust you had a good one with the family. Now that you have all this partying stuff over with we expect to see some dramatic advances on the project! LOL. Btw thanks for the pics- you answered some questions I had about mine - yup, the pitman arm is off by a quarter round! UGH! Anyway, keep up the good work!

Thanks got too much paint on bell housing had to re do it .Just trying to get it correct I used POR for frame but put a little flatter in last coat

My front suspension parts arrived absoutley no rust original 68 BB parts

Good move on the POR that paint will be good forever, "Correct" 
or not. Did mine in 99 still looks brand new. Dirt literally wipes off with a rag kinda comical no pressure washing needed....and no sign of rust!

This is what I started with plus boxes of parts
In the bigging
Every now and then i put it back to look like a corvette so my wife thinks I am really doing something
Drive line cleaned up only took 6 hours was super rusty
