I do dig the shaved door hardware,

Anyway, if you look closely you see the radical reworking of the fenders to make the lights fit yet they do not flow,

while the twin turbo hood is a timeless classic and very popular it looks like a clip on tie with a Gucci shut in this case, it doesn't flow but rather than the other classic the L-88 I see this car having a more modern twist like perhaps c7 style air induction, it might be pushing the c7 stuff but seems it would flow better.

From the first time I saw the C6's that's what I hated and still do. Hey , I have an idea ! Why not put C3 lights in the C6 and C7's .

I think the old "Monza" type lights actually seemed to "fit" better to the natural lines of the C3. These seem to disrupt that "flow" to me. It creates additional peaks & valleys that detract from the basic lines.....

I personally like it especially the interior and paint. Even though not a big fan of the lights it's unique and respect the dedication to the project and all the work to make it as it is and that's what matters.

No thanks! They look really out of place on the C3.

To this day, I've yet to see a fixed headlight conversion that looks better than the stock headlights.

I like customs. I like different twists on old classics. And I like this one. The car looks like a cool 1 off custom that was built with great attention to detail. I can appreciate that. Nooo, I wont be duplicating it anytime soon. Just like I wouldnt duplicate many of the other numerous takes on the C3. Such as the Mako, or the pro street, or the widebody, or the super flared fender race car replica's. That is not to say that I dont enjoy looking at the creations.

actually the mako 2 was the 1965 gm show car showing what the new corvette would look like, the c3 was a "take' on it released in 1968....and at the time many were sad the 68 wasn't closer to the 65 show car version...

Yeah, I know. I grew up in the Detroit area and am pretty familiar with concept cars. But it is so over the top exagerated, its cool, but not for me. And fwiw, if the C3 were more like the mako concept, Im not sure if it would be as popular of a model as it is.

I understand I just find it cool the mako 2 is what the c3 was taken from where wide bodies flared etc are custom c3s
The mako was very over the top it was really short and wide and costly no way it could be a production model..but many features on it made their way into production cars over the last 50 years which also is pretty darn cool.
