Default Exhaust system

For as long as I've owned my vett (20y) when my vett is cold it will make a tinny tapping sound until it warns up to about 200 degrees.
Dose anyone know what causes this and why?

Thank you

Bill

Most likely expansion of the metal on the exhaust or other parts that are subjected to high heat conditions.
