What's another $500?
35 years in the Georgia heat and humidity sure do a number on carpet. I knew it was just a matter of time, but mine has turned to a papery type of dust that comes apart when vacuumed. I just needed a good excuse to redo the interior anyway.

Might as well add some insulation under it while you're at it....If you decide to cut the insulation yourself I think I still have most of the patterns I used on my 72 and I'm just up the road in Cartersville.

Cool, ,Thank you. Since I'm a poor owner, I ordered some mats for now. Maybe this winter I can pull out the interior to install the heat/sound barrier and the carpet. Of course then the seats will look crappy, followed by the door panels, dash... You get it, I'm sure.
