Adjusting door glass
I've attached a photo of where the glass meets the t-top and of the bolts I've been loosening to try and move things around. So far I feel like all I've been able to do is move the glass, slightly, inward or outward from the car (the tilt of it.)
Any suggestions are welcome! haha maybe the track is just stuck from 35yrs worth of rust...
'B' has NOTHING to do with what you need to do.
'C' and 'D' work together adn tehy allos oyu to get eh top edge of yoru door glas to be level witheh top.
'E' has NOTHING to do with what you need to do.
What you need to get to to adjust.... you are not showing in your photo. It is at the top of the door frame.

It's rare but sometimes when we struggle with a door glass we toss out all the instructions and loosen up all the correct bolts. Then we set the glass with suction cups where it belongs with someone on the inside of the car to tighten up the bolts.

I apologize, I was also working with the slider mounts at the top of the door but couldn't get them to do anything more than tilt the glass toward or away from the car. They did not seem to change the height of the glass.
Thanks Willcox!
Man that picture is much clearer than my AIM lol. I'll concentrate on bolts labelled C in the diagram.

Also.. one thing that people don't think about when adjusting the door glass is the door hinge pins.... if they are worn out it'll really mess with you. So make sure you don't have play (sagging door) in the door. If you do, replace the pins and bushings then start over with the door glass.

If you still have a problem....and it seems that the 'angles of the dangles' are not allowing you to adjust your door glass. PLEASE post photos of the door glass up and the door closed and show how the door glass fits to the pillar post area and how the glass looks at the rear vertical weatherstrip.
I have had numerous Corvettes that the door glass CAN NOT be adjusted....and that was due to a previous impact...and the pillar post laid inwards... just a little bit...thus causing the 'angles' to be off and the glass can not be moved at all....or it will hit something.
Also...if your front roller that is attached to the door glass that slides in the froth vertical track is worn out and can move in and out...adjusting the door glass is a waste of time because it will not be SOLID when it is UP it will have a 'mind' of its own. The rear roller can also be bad that joins the rear vertical track to the horizontal track that is attached to your door glass.
