Default uh oh..I didn't know there could be this many worms in a can...

I've been following along several body off builds going on here and finally decided to take the plunge. It all started when I got in on the SST group buy for the 5 speed conversion kit. I figured since I was going to pull the auto trans and needed to work on the pedal area, won't it be a lot easier without the interior in the way..

So I went from this.....

to this...

now the fun begins...

While I LOVE driving my car, they seem to be a bit more fun when they are in pieces

That corvette is going to become a race car! Frame looks good, slight surface rust but really solid. Great looking garage too.
Have fun with the build

so today I made the main section of a body dolly so that I could get the body off the liftgate door. I am assembling the forward section after work to complete it. Surprisingly it worked out rather well...

You should support the front end so it doesn't sag
