Frame off or not?
Thanks a lot for all your advice,
It is very helpfull, my main problem is space, i was thinking to let the body outside, well protected, but seem not reasonable as it will last several months
Another topics you highlight is the time, i am not sure to be able to spend week ends during months on that
So, except if i discover something that need frame off, i am thinking to do not it
Looking at the work done by SSROADSTER i guess it is a good compromise
The car was from colorado, i guess it is a dry state, i suppose it is why it is not so rust
About caliber
Yes i changed them because i need to move car to home as old were leacking
So i prefer to drive safe
Thanks again

WHAT??? You mean I have been doing it wrong all this time. I always just jump right in and start the 'party'... as I call it. I thought that if I thought about it too long...I would not want to start on it.
***end of joking***
I can say that you can still pull it and find that what it would take to get the frame looking good again CAN be done on the cheap....and NOT cause you to take a loan out to do this.

Even though I am doing a frame off, I ended taking everything out of the vehicle, even now looking back, I really didn't have to

But time is the biggest factor in any type of rebuild you undertake. Now that I'm retired, I can and do have the time to finish the build. As others have mentioned, your Vette looks to be in very good shape, so you may want to freshen up things for now and enjoy driving as much as possible.
Again, whatever you do, have fun doing it.......
I think it looks like your have a good non rusted frame, that would last for years and years.
Drive and enjoy the car.
In the winter time, you can bit by bit print part of the frame, as you come around.
