Default 1969 under hood paint

I couldn't find the answer in my Prince Resto Guide manual. How far does the body color extend? It appears to be more than just the lip (as in the C2's). Based on my sanding, it looks like it extends to the flat protruding, if you know what I mean. Yes?

Hi tw,
Here's my 71 hood as an example of what was done at St.Louis.
Note it's not a distinct break between body color and black-out.
Many people do use a distinct line when they restore.
Regards,
Alan

Here.

Not very nicely done.

The rear and a bit of the side paint change is hidden by the hood seal.

Tape used for blackout after color.
