Default foam strip ID????

ok I finally got s day to put in my new core support & radiator and ran into a problem, I got a foam seal replacement kit from corvette central and put the 2 1" strips down the sides of the core support and I have the contoured foam for the top (hood seal) but where do the other 2 seals go? both are square foam one is 1" x 1.375" x 26" with one sticky side and the other is 1.375 " x 1.375" x 26" with 2 square cut outs in it about 5" in from the edge.
i assume one goes ontop of the radiator (the sticky side one) but where does the one withthe cut outs go? this is for a '74 350 AC car.

the AIMS manual has no page for seal placement? nor does corvette central or any other after market catalog. my radiator that came out of my vette only had the side strips on the core support & the hood seal no other foam so I cant go by the old set up. Im putting in a new (used) core support & champion alum radiator.

The smaller ones with the cutouts go on the shroud. This is from
Willcox and 73, but should be the same on yours.

These are the seals on my 73, if this helps.

Hi L,
You've given no clue to the year of your car so I'll give the "one-size fits all answer".
From the dimensions you gave I bet they are the seals for the top and bottom of the radiator.
The upper seal generally seals the length of the radiator's top to the fan shroud, while the bottom seal generally seals the bottom of the radiator to the core support.
In my 71 AIM they are shown in UPC 13, Sheet A6, Shroud-Seals, and are items #3 and #6.
I think you'll find they're in the AIM for your car too!
Regards,
Alan
