Default 82 Vette back up camera question

Hey just a thought but I was wondering how hard would it be to put a rear view mirror out of a Buick that has the rear view camera in it on my Vette?? Has anyone seen these done before?

I put a set of cams on mine (front and rear) for no really good reason

The only hard part on mine was machining the adapter to make the new mirror fit the original mount. Since yours is glued to the windshield (I think) then it should be even easier

That looks like the same unit, they all called it something different but that pretty much looks like what came in the box.
GM used a few different buttons over the years but I think there was only about 3 different shapes. If you could match it to something current they might even have the correct mount and you could slide it onto the existing button.
