Differential Help
I have removed the diff from my 79...that was fun, LOL.
This is the best I can do skill wise, remove and hopefully put back in.
Does anybody know of somebody in the NJ area that can look at this and give me an idea what it will take to get the car back up and running? In the Morristown area.
Took a photo where there are some gouges in the housing of the posi assembly.
I have attempted to provide a video of movement on the side shaft.

Not a very fun job removing the differential. At least it's no worse putting it back in. I think you'll have a fair bit of work done on that one. Doesn't look too good.

I Just rebuilt mine with the help of Gary's papers and his help via emails, it's a big job to tackle but I got it done and I am not an engineer so if you take your time and get help from Gary you can do it yourself.
