1st Car show with C3
I took my C3 to a car show for the first time today and won 1st place in 70s era cars class. This was a general car show so there were all kind of cars there.
The crazy thing is, my wife drove the C7 which I was not really planning to put in the show The C7 also won 1st place for 2010+ cars, and there were quite a few of those in the show.
This is the first time I have ever won anything at a car show and I won in 2 classes. So I guess my little C3 coupe is already bringing me luck.

A few years ago I entered one of my corvettes in a local car show in a new class " Under Construction " because my car still needed completed . I WON ! Sadly I was the only one that entered that day . 
We all got a good laugh and I got a lot of hand shakes.

Car shows are great. The best part is just meeting and talking to people about cars. I always learn something at every show I go to. This year has been a good year for me. I've entered 13 shows thus far, and have brought home 13 awards. Only have one more show scheduled, then it's winter projects. I could use a break.
