I wouldn't put much trust in that registry production estimator. It shows mine as a one of one car, which is a cool novelty, but I doubt very seriously it's accurate.

Such a beautiful example, why would anyone ever want to part with it, sounds like regrets in the long run.

By the way, I have the same stupid floormats. Why would anyone sell high quality, perfect fitting, C3 floor mats, with C5 emblems on them!

Hi WB,
"What price ranges are on 71 LT1s"
Maybe….
For complete, running, coupes and convertibles, with their original motor,……$15,000 to $75,000?
AND, it takes more than $60,000 to make a $15,000 car into a $75,000 car.
Regards,
Alan

That's a great line. If you can afford to put 60 grand into a rebuild, you're much, much better off buying a better car from the get go. Unless, of course, you happen to be an eccentric millionaire who likes turning wrenches for fun. I know a few of those, and they're some of the coolest guys you'll ever meet.

Yes,after 50 years a 40,000 car probably have a total of 60,000 or more total in it.
