Picture of your 68-73 tail light/exhaust panel needed
I've started fiberglassing my 70 tail light and exhaust panel together but unfortunately I didn't take any "before" pictures and now that I've "V"d out the join and covered it in fiberglass I don't know exactly what shape to make it. The area circled in yellow below is what I need a close-up picture of if you have one without the bumper and license plate bezel in place.

May be of no help, I don't have one with the bumper off, but here's my 72

That's a bit of help, I can see probably what I need to see on the right side of the license plate bezel. Even just a close up of the exhaust filler panel in that location would probably do.

I didn't notice that it was you posting, Priya. I guess that this is for your 79? I also noticed that I have two posts 1,743. How the heck does that happen? It has happened to me a few times in the past. Lou.

Yes, I did consider that and my husband was quite concerned about glassing in that panel but I read where a couple of people had done it and were still able to get the body off/on the frame by (if I remember correctly) tilting the body, sliding it ahead and back while lowering it. You are correct, this is my 79.

I'm asking as I ended up with a 78 frame to go back under a 69 body. I was going to cut the whole ends off around the rear body mount and swap them but maybe I wont have to .
One thing that might have to come off is the flange(s) on the outside at the back (to bolt the hydraulic shock absorber ) the shocker wont be used and it will make it (your frame) about 2 inches narrower. Interesting bit of info . thanks .

Really ? the 79 frame will fit under with a bit (or a lot!) of manoeuvring into the rear of a 68-73 shape with moulded exhaust panel?
