My 1978 is tiitled as a 1985 because it was a theft recovery in Michigan back in the 80's. It has a vin tag in the door jam issued by Michigan and the original tag was removed. It's not even listed as a Chevy on the title. Under make it says "ASPT" whatever that means. I knew this when I bought it but I didn't care knowing I was doing a custom build anyway.

That's exactly why I bought it. I can make it whatever I want and just have fun with it. There's not going to be much left stock when I'm done with her.
