Default 79 Vacuum Line Mods

I'm doing away with the EGR value on my 350 because I now have Vortec Heads and the intake doesn't support it. So the question is from the two photos attached where does the carb choke (Orange) vacuum line now attached. In the last pic you can see that there were two vacuum lines going to the EGR one from the back of the carb and the choke (Orange) one now attach? Directly to the intake?

Those are not really vacuum lines. They are for the hot air for the choke. To make the choke work on the new manifold, you will likely have to convert it to electric. I believe Edelbrock 1932 is the part you need for the conversion.
