Default 1974 Seats

I just bought a 1974 and it came with cloth seats, soft plaid. It looks good and seems to fit the time era. Was this an original option or were they recovered? Appreciate the help.

They were recovered. In 1974 your only 2 options for the seating surface material was leather or vinyl. Of course you had more color choices, but only leather or vinyl to choose from.

Those cloth seats will be a heck of a lot more comfortable on a hot summer day or a cold winter morn'!!

Do you have any pics of your interior you could post?

Thanks for the info.
The interior picture is attached. I'll probably trade them out for leather.

Very nice, I really like how those look. Someone did a really nice job on those. I have leather saddle in my 74 and I'd love to have those cloth seats in mine, but I'm changing my interior color to black and needless to say...they just wouldn't work.
