Default Astro Top 1 Piece

Has anyone ever got an Astro Top 1 Piece racing roof? They are about $100 more than the standard one, and are double reinforced in the middle. I was curious, because I really like the additional headroom, but sometimes (more than once), my car sees 140mph. I just wonder if this will hold at that speed. Thanks

I bought one, I was excited until I installed it. Its acrylic , a bit hazy, and I didn't like the look so I let my brother use it. He gave it a thumbs down so Craigslist it went. My personal experience , some like it!

Default Astro Top

No, I haven't bought one yet. I'm still getting thru paint, and solving a few electrical issues. I still want one tho.

I like mine. It makes the car feel more roomy inside because it has a larger glass area than a t-top.

I've had it to 120 mph with no issue. The hardware that holds it down seems to work well.

I bought a 72 coupe out of state, way out of state. The car came with the original tops and the astro. Had no room for the luggage, my wife and the astro, Something had to be left behind, hmmm. I left the astro top in the hotel room, could have shipped it but didn't bother. I never regretted this decision.
