how do I get the right side of the cowl to match up to the windshield the left side is close but the right side is about 5/8 off
thanks for any help

Welcome!
I see you have a 76 and that you're asking about a situation with it.
jnb is right that some photos would help (you need to up load them to a site like Image Shack and then copy the IMG code and past it in your post).
I'm thinking you're asking about the gap between the rear of the fenders and the windshield?
Is that it?
