anyone making custom spreader bars? have an 82 with a c4 96lt1. would need custom brackets made up (where the brackets are on the forward arm bolts) and the center rod/bar with the adjustment nuts. let me know if you can make up a set. thanks
Some of the companies that sell spreaders, the mounting brackets are not assembled [welded]. Therefore you can locate the tabs as required, for & aft, also up and down. If you need more vertical you can purchase some steel at most hardware stores. Cut to length, drill, then have welded. Or draw up a print and take to a local machine shop and have them make it up for you. T
Do to some engine mods I made, I actually made up some tabs and welded to frame just below the A-arm mount.

I made my own spreader bar w/ a panhard bar and some 2" angle iron as I needed to clear my dry sump pump.
Speedway motors had it on their Garage Sale $50
Prettied up w/ some black paint...cut the angle iron- made it look a little better by curving the angles and welded on the mounts. Maybe $25 here for angle iron-mounts-bolts and paint.
Bolted it on -drivers side-Yep, I know the bolt on the pump is not tight- making a correct size spacer for the HTD gear...
