Default Went to the dark side......

Well I did it. Went over to the dark side. Traded in the 73 for a modified 07. Thanks for all your guys help over the last few years, but it looks like I will be switching forums to the C6 area. Stay cool and I am sure I will be back.

Sorry to see you and the 73 go. Have fun with your new Vette. And hopefully your 73's owner will join this Forum.

Literally trade in or sold then reinvested the cash. Just curious. If you traded it in, I would have liked to been there for that transaction. I went to a local dealership to look at the owners 71 that was purchased from a friend decades ago. As I was talking to the corvette sales people I pointed to my 68 outside. They said it time to trade up. I said " If you have a loaded 67 available. They got a good laugh out of it. They were 20 somethings but they looked a little longer than they were supposed to at the 68.

Congrats, enjoy and we'll see you when you get your next c3

It's still a Corvette. The C6 is a great driver. Good luck with it. Most important enjoy the ride!

Hey,
I traded in a wife once, and got a much younger model...I have no complaints. The ride was smoother, too....

It was traded in at F&A Corvette in Colonial Beach, VA. I get all my Vettes from them. Always high quality. Gave me what I was asking retail for my trade-in. Got a good deal. Thsi one only has 36k miles. Cammed out, full exhaust, heads, intake, tuned, Z51 package, 6-speed, etc. Mean *** car. Lol! Whole different experience when going from 190HP to 450 RWHP.
More pics later. Gonna go play. :-)

Very tempting. 5 years ago, I would would have jumped at such a deal. Today C6's can be had for $20k and a decent Chrome Bumper C3 driver is getting close to that. I could probably get close to that for mine, maybe not, but I'd have a fast, dependable ride. But 5 years from now, I'd regret it. Besides, there's nothing on a C3 I can't fix, and there's nothing on a C6 I can.
