Hi c3dk,
I have to post that while I appreciate your wishes for the New Year, I find the photo you chose to post to be demeaning toward women.
Regards,
Alan

Hi D,
Nothing "LOL" about c3-dk's choice of photo, or my reply, at all.
Regards,
Alan

I don't want to offend anyone, it looks like I did.
So I've replaced the picture, with a picture that I hope will not offend anyone.
I'm sorry if it offended anyone.
If anyone would like to see the "originale" pictures, then it can be seen here.
PLEASE don't look if you don't want to see "calendar girls"

My Wife and I have a tradition that goes back 40+ years. In late 1975 we had scraped together enough money to buy a modest but very nice bungalow. Occupancy was December 30. One problem: we didn't have any (well much) furniture. So December 31 we celebrated on plastic milk cartons sitting on the living room hardwood floor. I bought a bottle of sparkling wine plunk and sent out for Chinese food. The wine was terrible and the food not much better. But it was our first home.
Tonight? Chinese food made without MSG and a very nice Canadian (Niagara) Chardonnay. The more things change, the more they remain the same.
We are both retired now. The pic shows our retirement home today. About 12" of snow coming down and the temp is 14*F.
I wish everyone a Great and Healthy 2017!

The Chinese food and the wine was great. Just watching the snow come down (it is fascinating) before I head off to sleep. You can like winter if you put your mind to it.
No ice cream tonight!
