Default C3 Caliper bolts

The prior owner rounded off the bolt heads so I chucked them in the can. Now I'm back to work on this car and
I thought I had a few of these saved from another set, however I was wrong. What size are these bolts? Threads per inch? Course threads?

Thank you for your help

Default Bolts

Are you referring to the bolts holding the calipers together or the bolts that mount the caliper to the flange? In any event, the bolts are grade 8. As for the sizes, check the websites for Van Steel and Vette Brakes and Products. The bolts are the same for all 66 to 82 vettes. Jerry

Hi Z,
The front and rear caliper mounting bolts are 7/16"x20x1-1/8". Grade 8.
Regards,
Alan

Jerry, it's the long bolts (sorry, I should have been more specific)--------
Thanks for the help!

Long bolts are 9/16-18 (UNF) grade 8. Sorry I can't remember the length. I think 2-1/2" but that could be wrong.

Hi a,
A's surmise was very close.
The fasteners for the caliper halves are 2-7/16" long.
They appear to be specific for that use because of the length of the unthreaded portion of the bolt.

Alan
