Default Vette junk yards

I need a few names. I think there is a big one in Texas but cannot recall the name.

It depends on what your looking for, but pickings on anything in most yards pre-82, are pretty slim.

Right near you in Virginia Beach is Vette Masters. Tom doesn't have a "junk yard" per se, but he usually has a large inventory of used parts. Contemporary Corvette in Bristol PA, runs a true Corvette junk yard, but their pre-82 cars are pretty well picked over.

Vette Visions in central PA still parts some cars, as does Corvette Mac in GA, but most of what they're parting these days is 84 up. I was talking to Mac yesterday and he was happy because he just came across a 79 and an 80 to part out.

Unlike the big national Corvette vendors, who specialize in new parts, most of the smaller Corvette parts companies (like Gale who Alan mentioned), deal in both new and used parts.

There is a guy in Buford Ga that has from 500 to 600 parts on eBay at any given time....99% of those are C3....His user name is Glenn454, I check his and Mack's eBay listings everyday. I have bought parts from Glenn and been happy with all purchases....So far Mack hasn't had anything I needed at the right price.

I've bought many parts from Glenn on eBay. He's great to deal with, and most times if fair, he'll take your best offer.

Yep- Glenn454

I've know Glenn since High School...He had a white 71- another buddy had a Blue 71 and my 71 at the time was Red.

He's a great guy- probably the best prices around-

Is Kim Motor Company in Virginia still in business? They used to do a lot of Corvette salvage.

Looks like they are, and they have a few 1973 and up C3s, as well as later model cars.

Dream Restorations in Moyock, NC. They claim to be Corvette Specialist but it really just looks like a junkyard. The whole place looks like a dump inside and out. Lots of junk all around. They do have a lot of parts cars in the back.

Billy at Gulf Coast Corvette has mucho used stuff.......great guy to deal with.

Paragon Corvette used to have a Vette salvage yard behind the building.........this is in Grand Blanc Michigan......I used to go there with my Dad years ago.......but not sure of the status now.
It was the craziest thing I had ever seen.......Vettes stacked in rows three high on top of each other

I've bought parts from Steve at SoCal Vettes in the San Diego area.
He was easy to deal with and had tons of C3 stuff - body, interior, drivetrain, you name it.

That was a couple years ago. I see that he's got an actual business location now, rather than just operating out of his house and storage complex. He also has items on eBay, but not as many as some of the others.

Tracy Performance in Detroit has at least 3 warehouses full of vette parts. Frames stacked on frames, clips, engines, you name it. If it came on a C1-C3 vette, he has it. He has a website, too, though limited. He's a character. Fun place.

To my knowledge Paragon still has a yard behind the building, though I haven't laid eyes on it, I've heard recent stories.

They are still in business. I've never been but they were parting several c3s a few months ago.

With you being in New Port News I think your best bet would be Dream Restorations as I posted in my earlier post.

Chesapeake and Moyock, NC are right on the state line HWY 168/Chesapeake Expressway
