chrome on gauges
saw this on FB modeling page and thought it might work for restoring gauges and such
Friends, I have something fantastic to share. You know how hard it is and painstaking to use Bare Metal Foil. How expensive it is to send out parts to plating companies, and Alcad isn't cheap. I checked out a product I saw on another forum called Molotow liquid chrome. It comes in a pen like a Testors paint stick. Got some and it blew my mind! Paint it on, dries quickly, looks like a million!
I'm building a 1963 Pontiac NASCAR resin kit. Bumpers need to be plated.
Front bumper before and after.
Rear bumper mostly done.
