ha, we're old! what about a 16 ? we had a player (in the house) that played 16 ,33,45 and 78.!
16 was usually for educational material.

I was in the music industry for 22 years, and I heard the last 8 track was made in 1991, although Wikipedia has it at 1988. At some point in time, CD's will become extinct, same as the 8 track.
I don't go "quite" that far back to have owned one. I do remember 1963 reverb units for Chevs and Pontiacs with rear speakers.
Those reverbs were great because AM radios had a drab sound by themselves . A friend bought a reverb for his 1961 Impala and I never heard anything like it . I never bought one because I never kept one car long enough to install one.
