Default Was the 75 coupe stock back window plastic/plexi?

Could not find this answer, mine seems to be plastic? When I knock on it does not sound like glass.

Were the removable 68-72's glass?

All rear windows were glass. 68-72 were removeable. This stopped in 1973, windows were fixed and could not be removed and stowed. All the glass was manuafacted by LOF Libby Owens Ford and would have the logo and date code etched in the glass.
Hope this helps!

The only place GM ever used Plexiglass was for the windows in removable hardtops.

You can swap in a removable window from a '68-'72. That's what I did.

I have a new replacement window sitting on the shelf but, My old one shattered going over train tracks and I replaced it with tinted plexi-glass which seems to be working great. I have a new Vansteel suspension front and back since the glass shattering incident and may try putting the glass back in.
