Default Heat Shield on the Firewall

I am installing a heat/sound deadener. Should I run something up the firewall too? Or is the deadener I am installing sufficient enough?

If you can. I got mine to cover only the trans tunnel area. Too much stuff in the way to do more. If I ever pull the body I'd shoot it with lizard skin.

I may have gone a little overboard ....

I covered the bottom with truck bed liner, none of this is factory, but neither is my ride.

I used an infrared gun on all interior areas. The hot spots went from 135*F before reflective heat-sound insulation down to ambient air temp after h-s insulation in my non AC car.

Thread revival, I know.
But can I ask what product this is and how it's holding up?

Thanks!

It's thick 10 mil aluminum. As long as you have a clean contact for the adhesive is will last forever,
